Hello, my name is Diego Ordonez, and my intended major is computer science. I took many different coding classes back in high school including scratch, python, AutoCAD, c++, and visual basics which is why I am leaning toward computer science. I speak English as well as Spanish, I use English more frequently than Spanish. I was born and raised in Brooklyn New York alongside my younger brother, years later my two older brothers immigrated to the US to be together with us. I greatly enjoy playing soccer, every summer break I would spend 90% of my time playing alongside my cousins or even by myself just practicing. Even though I am not very good at playing the sport it will always be one of my favorite physical activities to do. I also enjoy watching movies, I am very open to new genres but im specifically invested in marvel productions, some titles I can’t wait to see are atman and the wast quanta mania as well as the other phase 5 and 6 movies, and shows. My main hobby as of now is going to the gym and working out, I first touched the gym in the summer of 2021 with the intention of only losing weight since I used to be really overweight back then meaning I was only really doing cardio. That didn’t last long though, probably around 2-3 months since I got my first job and wasn’t motivated to keep going especially after an 8-hour shift. Then in late February 2022, I went to the gym with one of my friends from work, and from then on I fell in love with lifting weights which I believe has bettered me a lot. It taught me what it was like to be dedicated to something so much that it would remove some of my bad habits such as eating without thinking, not getting enough sleep, and being lazy(to an extent). I now get at least 7-8 hours of sleep and am conscious of what I am eating and how it could affect my diet. I hope to keep on staying consistent for as long as I can which I have been doing even with school and work. One last thing is I play video games from time to time, it has to be with friends since I have found playing by myself to be very boring and unenjoyable. Right now the only game that has caught my interest is call of duty warzone 2 but then again i have always enjoyed the call of duty series.
